Filing a Takedown Notice

- A statement of good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its

- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that
- you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf
- Your physical or electronic signature

Our Response
Upon receipt of a valid notice, we will: – Acknowledge receipt within 3 business days – Investigate the
claim promptly – Remove or disable access to the disputed content pending review – Notify the content
publisher of the takedown
Counter-Notice
If you believe your content was removed in error, you may file a counter-notice containing: –
Identification of the removed material and its former location – A statement under penalty of perjury that
the removal was a mistake or misidentification – Your name, address, phone number, and consent to
jurisdiction of the appropriate court – Your physical or electronic signature
Repeat Infringers
Prompt Vault maintains a policy of terminating access for repeat infringers where applicable.
Misrepresentation
Please note that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly makes a material
misrepresentation in a takedown or counter-notice may be liable for damages.
